STAR Vanpool Service in Energy Corridor

STAR Vanpool service is now available between counties in the southern Colorado Valley (Wharton, Colorado, Austin, and Waller) and the Houston Energy Corridor. STAR has more than 700 routes serving the greater Houston area. A STAR vanpool route requires riders who live in the same area, work in the same area and have similar work schedules. One of the riders must volunteer and qualify to be the driver.

This vanpool service could be a valuable benefit to many commuters by lowering gas and other transportation costs. It could be like giving yourself a raise. And, it could make life easier for you by providing more reliable and comfortable transportation. To help lower your vanpool participation costs, incentives are available through STAR.  STAR vanpool representatives are available to meet with interested commuters and employers.
