The Green Office Challenge is designed to help participants take steps to reduce energy, waste and water use.
The Houston Energy Corridor fully supports the Mayor's initiative and actively promotes alternate transportation choices to improve mobility and reduce congestion, recycling office waste, and scheduling outreach events to encourage other organizations and individuals to adopt green programs.
Companies and organizations that want to get involved in the Green Office Challenge can join the Energy Corridor Management District and the Westchase District on September 14, 2011 for a luncheon at the Kendall Public Library and Community Center. The luncheon will be from 11:30 am to 1 pm and the program will include discussions on Sustainable Transportation and tips on how to participate in the Green Office Challenge. There is no fee for the lunch. To RSVP, contact Katherine Wallace at kwallace@energycorridor.org.
